Parents get 'wake-up call' on realities of teen sex

Children as young as sixth-graders in Ozaukee County are sexually active and parents have to wake up to that fact if they want to stop it, parents and educators were told Thursday.

I’m sure this is also statistically true for our present home. Seeing the town in which I spent the first 10 years of my life mentioned in this article just increases the ‘ick’ factor.

If I can get really sentimental, I remember when the Journal and Sentinel were two papers. Rick will occassionally pick up a Journal-Sentinel for me if he is passing thru Milwaukee. It just isn’t as good as the old Journal - that is, I wouldn’t go out of my way to find a copy, the way I would buy a Chicago Tribune when we were living in Wisconsin. (as irritating as the Trib may be!)
