This has become a yearly lament. The paucity of excellent - OK, even not bad - pre-printed covers for our Easter schedule. I thought I had found one - but upon closer examination it, too, falls short. (And a little bit reminiscent of Lady Gaga's Grammy appearance pod.) Pastels: flowers, ribbons, clouds; trumpets; faux-naif drawings. It's Easter - not Pastel Fest. Pastels belong on Peeps. Marvelous, chewy yellow, pink and blue Peeps. Your parish should not have to send out its schedule on a visual Peep.
