Our Totemic Christmas Customs - #7
Apropos for the day when my granddaughter may be born, I offer Eddie's BabyFace ornament. These were found in the drug store in December 1993 - a promotional item for . . . a 'less invasive' baby thermometer. Though Eddie also has a fancy baby's first Christmas ornament, this is has become a Christmas staple.

The next baby face here will be the crown princess of the vonHuben-Cheng dynasty. As soon as she arrives... (And when she meets her aunts and uncles, I bet she'll have the same expression as the ornament.)
