I’ll give them credit.....They printed the whole letter. They did spell my name correctly......all caps with the VON in small letters. Nice. And the lady who called me to say my letter was being published was very nice. I was a little puzzled when she said the letter caused a lot of discussion, especially the part about eutrapelia. No one reading the letter had any idea what eutrapelia meant. I sorta figured it was a word I could use when writing to a religious paper. I might have changed my wording if I were writing to the Weekly World News. (Hey, then maybe I would have had a call from Bat Boy! The call from the NCReporter caused a bit of a stir at home - the kids thought I had committed some sort of a religious crime. They told them to call me at work.....where I figured the call was just to sell a subscription.)
