Oh. good night.
Rick was right. The 'new' computer in his office is a lot faster than the iMac. This is good since we have a furniture jam in the family room and I can't even get close to the iMac. But every time we get a different computer or a so-called 'upgrade, I become confused. And my fingers hurt too much to type much. Not to mention that the office is off of the garage ...not air-conditioned and a little too close to the garbage. At least until olfactory fatigue sets in.
I also can't find any document writing program - that's what you call it, right - like Apple works, on this computer. I am sooo confused.
Tomorrow the old (i.e. 'stinky') couch goes to the dump and I'll be able to get to the iMac again. We were fortunate to receive a lovely sleeper sofa - really meant for Bridget's bedroom, but it couldn't make it down the stairs - to replace the old 'stinky' couch. That couch was purchased for $35 at Lambs' Farm thrift shop five years ago. So I know we got our money's worth out of it. [Some lunatic family member wants to keep it so we can have 'theater seating' in the family room...which would give us a perilous resemblance to some of the people my sister had to prosecute in the last week. Well, except that we don't have 72 cats.]
More about that tomorrow....when I'm feeling better. There was even a film team from Animal Planet at the 'cat lady's' house. I'll let you all know if my sister will be on TV. That would be exciting. We missed the Pet Stars open audition in Chicago this week. Basically because our pets have no talent. (Parading family members' underthings through the living room at inappropriate times does not constitute talent. Amusing as it may be....)
Time to check myself for suspicious rashes and then watch the telly for more distress from the Episcopal Church. The sadness and irrationality will keep my mind off of my aching body. I'll rant tomorrow....
