Happy Birthday, dear Charles
Fourteen years ago the nurse escorting us out of Weiss Memorial in Chicago held this baby up declaring, "Look at this fine little man, just born this morning." The crowd at the elevator bank applauded. A baby snoozed. A stage mother was born.
The nurse's diagnosis was correct. A fine young man.
