Perhaps I should give Madeline's other grandmother...

a copy of "Madeline."  The word on the street  (a street in Chinatown) is that she didn't understand the faux appendectomy scar.  A disconcerting surprise when she changed Maddie's diaper.  Em had a bit of explaining to do.  Explaining the original Madeline story.  And explaining her mother's sense of humor.  Oops.
