"According to Pantone Color Institute executive director Leatrice Eiseman, the yellow Mimosa color “exemplifies” warm and nurturing qualities associated with the sun and “speaks to enlightenment, as it is a hue that sparks imagination and innovation.” It also is a versatile shade that “coordinates with any other color,” the company said."
Pantone would be a fun organization to work for. Write about colors. Talk about colors. Look at colors.
It's good to know that my dining room "speaks to enlightenment." As the pictures show, the dining room is slightly more enlightened than Mimosa. But I have no immediate plans to change it. And I think I'll defer tossing that old yellow sweater I wear around the house. [Call it any name you like, very few people look good in yellow. But it was 75% off at Target. And 100% cotton.] And no, we are not Packer fans...that color combination was pure coincidence.
