Happy Holiday!
Greetings on the second of three major house-cleaning and drawer sorting holidays of the secular year. If life were more efficient we would celebrate the American working man and play the Super Bowl on the first of January, thereby rolling my three least favorite days on the calendar into one. I should be getting more done, but I’m pacing myself. Eddie and I had a little fun shopping jaunt to Toys R Us for some special LEGO thing and then on to Wal-Mart for all the stuff I really needed (including drugs for the still ailing family members.) I thought this might be a safe day to tackle Wal-Mart since the rest of the population would be at home watching Super Bowl pre-game festivities. An outrageous number of my fellow shoppers had the same idea. Now I just barely have the energy to watch the “Puppy Bowl” on Animal Planet and work on re-covering my sixties-style orange bolsters (honestly, they look like they were stolen from the original one room, circa 1960 Barbie Dream House) with some new pink toile fabric that I found on the $2 table at Wal-Mart.
