Rick dodges bullet.....this year

Tomorrow is our 26th anniversary. Rick suggested dinner and a movie. My choice.

So.....Do we go the comedy route? Saved or Stepford Wives? Something fun.....like Spiderman? I think not.

We have a long history of romantic anniversary dinners deteriorating into quibbling, even argument. So I suggested that we see Fahrenheit 9/11 so that we may argue about a topic outside of our personal sphere. And though we feel differently about energy issues, oil etc. we’re pretty much in agreement that Michael Moore is a jerk. But we both know it could turn personal and nasty anyway. (Have I previously mentioned the time, when pressed for a succinct critique of Rick’s personal appearance, I whispered two words? “Michael Moore?”) So I think it will be Stepford Wives.

With great relief we find out that De-Lovely doesn’t open until Friday. That would be my top choice. But Rick will do anything for love......but he won’t do that.
