I bought bird watching guides/journals for the boys. With the intention that we would watch for birds in the ‘hood and at the forest preserve. I wish I had popped for the additional CD of bird calls. Then my first assignment would be for them to identify the bird that start yacking outside of my window at 4:45am and kill it. OK, that’s harsh.
