About my ‘extra’ day...
It lived up to my expectations of having an extra day. I tried to cram as much into it as possible. Dishes, laundry, quality time with the family. Finished painting the old wooden letter sorting thing that I want to take to work for my desk. Talked with my old friend whose birthday is today...lots of catching up coupled with musing on how did we go so quickly from high-school to middle-aged ladyhood. (May I ask for prayers for her mother, Doris, who has recently been diagnosed with multiple myeloma?) Picked up Martha after she was done with work and went shopping for Fran’s birthday gifts (and to keep me moving and awake) before the 9:30 showing of The Passion. Amazing. Just amazing. Am looking forward to seeing it again with Rick.
