and one more thing
I returned home from work last evening making one request of my husband. In the event the I pre-decease him, I implored him that he not ask the parish to do anything different, out-of-the-ordinary, special just this once.... Of course, this came to mind because it has been a hectic week (and I haven't even been there for the wildest moments) filled with 'special requests.' (Sure, I wouldn't mind my visitation being in the rectory living room. And perhaps Father would like to make some of his fabulous creme brulee for the mourners.... But let's not get carried away.)

While I'm making final requests there is one thing I would like. Someone - anyone - proof my obit for spelling errors.
