Back in Business!
I think? Em has worked most of the kinks out of the computer. Except the e-mail keeps crashing. I don’t remember if I am in the middle of a negotiation on a text book swap list. Oh, well, we’ll see what happens.
Without the temptation of the iMac, I did get a lot of other things done today. Organizing the school table, laundry, more painting in my bedroom. Pretty dull stuff. But a good day.
Yesterday was more exciting. Em and Ed took us to Chinatown for dim sum. I ate a chicken foot. It was pretty good, except I don’t like social situations that call for spitting out little bones. (So I suppose I’d do better with a bucket of feet while watching TV alone.)
Ed stopped to by some blue crabs for his parents. I was surprised that the market didn’t package them with any tighter security than a paper bag. We put one in the sink to ‘play’ with when we got home. They have mighty claws that mean business. I’m glad one didn’t get loose in the car during the 45 minute drive home. (That would have been something for the news at 5:00 - Crash on Edens Expressway caused when crabs run amok in a northbound Isuzu. One victim was seen running down the shoulder of the road screaming, “Get the Jaws of Life. Get this thing off of me...!”)
