Oy!
I just heard on Fox News Channel that Barbra Streisand gave a talk to her team of decorators (they’re on her payroll, are they the only ones left who will listen without laughing?) stating that Senator Wellstone’s plane crash was “not an accident.” And she is too busy working on Democratic causes to take an active part in her current home remodeling project. Awww.

To go off on a tangent, may I add here a personal holiday entertaining hint? The perfect way to end a social event that has gone on a little too long is to pop the Barbra Streisand Christmas Album in the cd player. Go to Jingle Bells. Press the repeat button. Guests will run screaming down the street.

Really - I’ve been known to leave stores when Babs comes on the Muzak with Jingle Bells. It is cruel and inhuman to make anyone listen to it - even once. I happen to own a copy of this album. I inherited it with the rest of the cd’s of my late father. How he got it, I will never know. I do know he would not have consciously purchased it. (Especially if he knew about Jingle Bells.) Perhaps this was some sort of record club purchase/mistake. I do not have the heart to pitch it, since it was my father’s. But I hide it. The children will put on Jingle Bells just to cause a ruckus..........oy.
